Ok, I have used CE for over a year now, my hosting company is growing very well, but CE is still missing some "required" parts. I dont want to have to switch to another billing program bc I like alberto and I like CE but CE could be costing me $$ and is right now. I am listing a few things I feel would be strongly appreciated, please let me know where they are schedualed and how far away that is:
1. Add ons
The ability to add on things such as static ip address, buy more SQL
databases, etc... This would be important bc right now, we are having
to waste time manually set this up and some customers don't request
because they dont see it and assume we dont do it.
2. Coupons
Coupons are an important part if we want to sometimes launch an
effective advertising campaign. Right now this is hindering us and
causing us signups possibly.
3. Free Domain Option
Currently I am offering a free domain with any plan on any payment
schedual. I would like the ability to only offer free domains with
yearly plans. This is probably the biggest thing right now causing me
dollars.
4. Credits
I definately need to be able to give credits to customers when needed.
This is a must too.
5. Billing Notice
I have had so many customers get ticked because they are on a yearly
plan and the year rolls around and they forget exactly when I bill them
and then they get billed without prior notice. This would tick me off to
because what if I wasn't planning for that or didn't have the funds in my
account. CE needs to send a prior warning of billing to credit card
customers. I love CE to death and support it, but if this feature does not
come along, I would see no choice but to switch billing programs because
I take to high a risk of chargebacks and ticked off customers.
Ok now it's time for updates I don't see as requirements but nice features:
1a. Automatic Account Creation
I would like it if the clients CC checks out for CE to go ahead and create
the account incase someone is'nt available to instantly activate the
account.
2a. Batch Valadating
The ability to valadate multiple customers Credit Cards at once.
Please let me know the status on these.
