Revamped Customer/Public Section
Version 3.2 of ClientExec includes the separation of the client and admin areas. You can now totally change the look of the client area by simply changing the public header and footer files making it much easier to integrate into your current website design. You can now even pass the template details in the url making it great for when you have multiple brands or websites.Just some of the new support features are listed below:
- Customer Portal - Separate client and administrator views from using the same interface.
- Templates by url parameter - Multiple public section templates possible, by passing the template name through the URL. (e.g. index.php?template=Company1, index.php?template=Company2).
- Added Security - It is now possible to password protect the /admin directory to enhance security.
- Merged Public/Customer View – The client view now uses the same template as the public section.
- View as Customer - Added a "view as customer" link to the customer profile which allows you to view the interface that your customer sees.
- Language by url parameter – Extended signup form URL allowing the parameter "lang" to work for the entire public section. (ex: index.php?lang=french).
Billing Enhancements
ClientExec is after all a billing manager. We have, through the customer portal, made it easier for customers to update their own payment method. No longer will you require them to submit a support ticket. Customers can change their payment method for regular scheduled payments or even make a one time payment with a different payment option.- Enhanced VAT Support - The billing area includes some great VAT abilities, with proper support for EU taxes. VAT is charged to other countries that have VAT taxation rules only if a VAT number is not provided.
- Tax VAT Support - Added the ability to set tax rules to use VAT.
- VAT Validation - Automatic validation of VAT numbers on the signup form, so those with valid numbers can be exempt / not exempt at checkout from vat charges depending on the tax rules you set.
Support / Knowledgebase Manager
We have focused on enhancing the usability of the support center for both your support staff and customers. Customers can now access articles directly from the search box. The instant search results show both relative and timely article titles and excerpts allowing easy access to those articles by just one click. No more searching countless of articles on a results screen. Go straight from the search box itself!- New KB/Comments Manager - The knowledgebase now sports a new KB Manager, allowing you to quickly manage both articles and categories ?from the same view. Improved interface for approving article comments
- Less page refreshes - Instant popup windows when adding/editing articles and categories. Drag and drop articles into different categories
