Brand New Admin Area
You requested, and we listened.... The largest part of the long awaited ClientExec 4.0 release has been a major overhaul of the whole admin interface. Back when we released ClientExec 3.2 we gave you the ability to separate the client & admin areas, with the arrival of 4.0 we proudly introduce a more streamlined and easier to operate administrator interface.- Staff Communication - Here at ClientExec our employees are spread out across the globe and we realize just how important it is for your staff to remain in constant contact. One of the great improvements in the 4.0 interface is the integration of a fully featured Staff Chat application and Twitter-like Team Status Updates so your staff are never out of the loop.
- Dashboard - One thing that always bugged us with previous versions of ClientExec was the number of clicks required to find out the information that WE wanted to know, because of this we decided to totally overhaul the administrator dashboard, using the latest AJAX technology we have introduced the ability for each staff member to customize the dashboard to fit their own daily needs.
- Client View - Quite simply, we took a fairly integral part of any billing system and made it better! The 4.0 release has bought a much needed update to how you interact with the packages and domains your clients have purchased, everything your client purchases from you is now displayed in one comprehensive view with one click access to common package functions.
- Stability – Our developers have tirelessly over the last few months to not only bring new features to the table but also to fix hundreds of bugs, include that with the countless numbers of man hours that our dedicated public beta testers have put in over the last two months and we can safely say that ClienteExec 4.0 is the most stable version we have ever released.
Improved Plugin Support
We realize that our plugin's can make or break your billing system, therefore as part of the 4.0 release we took the opportunity to update a number of our existing plugin's (e.g. cPanel) and also introduce a few new ones to the mix to ensure that we always offer the maximum amount of flexibility.- OpenSRS - OpenSRS is quickly becoming one of the leading names in the domain registration business and we felt that our existing plugin simply didn't do them justice. To show our appreciation we have updated their plugin to support several new domain-related features within ClientExec including the ability to change the renewal status when canceling or deleting a domain.
- PayPal Pro - Using the latest technology from PayPal, the PayPal Pro plugin enables you to accept credit card payments directly from your customers without the hassle of redirecting them to a 3rd party website. If you already use the traditional PayPal plugin to accept payments, using the PayPal Pro plugin is just as easy.
- cPanel 11 - cPanel recently released an updated API that not only allows us to increase the speed and accuracy with which ClientExec can provision accounts but also enables us to quickly build enhanced features into future product releases. This is one update our developers are most excited to start working with.
- Teamspeak 3 - Following the recent introduction of the Teamspeak 3 server a number of our forum community members took it upon themselves to write a server plugin to allow automatic provisioning of accounts, this plugin has since been included with the 4.0 release.
More Powerful Billing
The most used part of any web host billing solution is, well, the integrated billing system! ClientExec 4.0 brings a massive range of new billing related features to the table to give you the most powerful billing system we've ever released.- Variable Payments - Support for Partial Payments and Overpayments on a per invoice basis allow your customers greater flexibility when paying for your products. Invoices are only marked as paid when the full balance has been received, any overpayment is automatically credited to the customers Credit Balance
- Account Credit - The new Account Credit / Credit Balance feature allows your customers to keep a positive balance on their account and use this balance to pay future invoices. We also allow for invoices to be credited back to this balance as opposed to being refunded by the payment gateway.
- Manual Orders - Previous versions of ClientExec have enabled your staff members to add manual orders to a clients account, this functionality has been expanded to enable individual domain names to be added and registered to a clients account.
